MAKE IT Welding Competition

Competion Details

Our Make It With Orbimax campaign explores the history of welding and fabrication and the people who have helped forge our world.

To celebrate this history, our #MakeItWithOrbimax competition is a chance to showcase your latest or greatest welding/fabrication project.

Whether you’re a DIY welder working on a go-cart in your shed, or a professional fabricator working on trusses for buildings, we want to see you what you’ve made.

Entries will go in the draw to win an Orbimax gift voucher valued at $2,500 AUD.

The competition will run across Facebook, Instagram and LinkedIn from 27 February 2026 until 30 April 2026. The winner will be drawn on 10 May 2026.

How To Enter

Judging Details

This is a skill-based competition, not a random draw.

Big or small projects are welcome from home DIY builds to professional fabrication work.

Entries will be judged on:

1. Creativity and originality.

2. Quality of fabrication or welding.

3. Practical problem-solving.

4. How well the project reflects the spirit of Make It With Orbimax.
