the ALL-NEW Orbimax Tacking Clamps

Redefining Tube Welding

Introducing

The all-new Orbimax tacking clamps are designed to assist welders in tacking and cutting tube.

Smart + Simple, the Orbimax Tacking clamps mean you don't need to build a fixture to assemble the pieces for your weldment. This makes sure the key aspects of tack welding are performed with precision. Our tacking clamps are designed for the welder, by the welder, to create a perfectly aligned weldand ensure straight, clean cuts each and every time.

a multitasking machine

The Orbimax Tacking Clamp is designed to assist welders in getting the best result when tacking and cutting tube.

Tacking - With the clamps inserted in the "tacking" position, two pieces of tube are butted up against one another with minimal effort. the user can then use a welder to tack the tube together, after which the now joined pieces of tube can be released and removed.

Cutting - With the clamps inserted in the "Cutting" position, the user can clamp the tool onto a piece of tube or over an existing weld. The slot in the jaws of the clamps is used to guide a saw blade as it cuts the tube, after which the clamp can be released and removed - which can be done by piece as each side of the jaws has a separate release mechanism.

Efficient - No matter what project you're working on, the Orbimax tacking clamp improves efficiency with cleaner cuts and easier welds meaning you can finish projects faster with more consistency and flawless ease.

Functional in design

Tacking and cutting clamps are designed to make sure your tube is aligned, maintain the joint gap, contrast and control distortion and movement and hold each piece in place.

This provides not only an economical solution but an invrease to productivity and a highly efficient weld - meaning you can complete projects on time and within budget.

Our tacking clamps can also be used in multiples to run long lengths of tubing.

features

Jaws
- Dual purpose jaws simplify the fabrication process and save space
- Dovetail clamp precisely positions the jaws while preventing any movement once installed
- Single captive fastener operation allows you to change a full jaw set within a minute

Handle
- Twin independent clamping mechanisms with single-action lever clamping helps to save time and simplifies fabrication
- Overcentre clamping assists with fast operation, high clamping forces and quick release

Vice Plates
- Vice plates allow you to clamp the handle in a vice without affecting the operation of the tacking clamp

Fine Adjust
- A force adjustment knob assists with fast operation and helps to accommodate irregularities in tube
